Queen MoustraviaToday's theme plucked from the 'August Pot Luck!' Hat is 'children's books I started drawing this character loosely to see where it would go. The wee face came first, then the big bouffant hairdo. At first I thought i'd turn it into a cat, and so i went forth drawing the furs and dress with wee gloves (a very posh cat). I sketched out the basics of a carriage...trying to remember what a carriage looked like...halfway through i thought, maybe it's a boat. Still the wrong shape, so i added wheels. My friend saw it and said, "oh a wee pram!". For some reason i thought..maybe not a cat but a mouse, and a little conversation later it was a posh mouse in a colander - a pedal powered wind assisted one at that! I present to you today, her highness, Queen Moustravia. Where is she travelling to...all shall be revealed - in time! Hope you enjoy her, and i'll see you tomorra!
