A whole herd of Heilan Coos!The trouble with developing a wee character, in this case a wee highland cow boy is that it needs to be able to be drawn in 3 dimensions. What might work face on is fine..if that's the only way they're ever going to be drawn. My intention, however, is to include the wee highland coos in a kids picture book, so they need to be drawn getting up to all sorts of fun adventures. I've been having problems with this wee cow when i tried to draw him side on. Still not happy with the proportions, but he'll get there in the end - even if i have to construct a 3-d model in Blender or Lightwave. (still that would make for a good blog post, so ye never know!)  moooooo! I hope yer enjoying seeing the process so far.
